Update: Thoughts on DT SS Damascus Blades; and Some Anodizing Work.

Although I do not have a CRK yet, I have a Trevor Mcdonough Abrams in Damascus by rob Thomas. I have been using this blade like I would any other knife I own. Cutting wire, cardboard, radiator hoses, fruit, and anything else I might need throughout the day. I must say that the finish on these Damascus blades is amazing. I also have yet to sharpen mine, a simple " stropping" on my jeans or the nearest piece of cardboard cleans up the edge to hair shaving again.

Sharpened up last night and this knife is now sharper than it has ever been. Still no signs of rust/pitting in the finish, and I still carry this knife nearly every day. It's had some competition with my Insingo lately but, it remains pocket king. 8 months of daily carry and it doesn't even look much worse than the day I got it. The scratches I posted earlier in this thread seemed to have smoothed out as the whole blade has been wearing. I can't even see them now. These knives are truly made to be used, and DT stainless damascus is no exception.
