(UPDATE) What should my next knife be?

Maybe I should add one traditional in my collection but I know nothing about traditional knives

Neither do I:D

That's why I chose a not-so-well-known maker like Jim Dunlap to make me a few knives:) He'd be a great person to start with:thumbup:

Check out some smaller fixed blades, slipjoints and friction folders.

Sibert, Rogers, Fellhoelter, Jarosz and Leu come to mind for those categories.

Nice choices. But I think my CRK I have now have fed my CRK itch
But I'm looking at Jim Dunlop knife that the other member has mentioned.
I think that might be my next knife. But gotta do some research on it. I know nothing about traditional knives.

Jim Dunlap is a newer maker, and his info isn't readily available without a lot of digging...

If you're interested, PM me and I can let you know details about pricing and how to contact him:thumbup:

I'm going to bed soon, so if you PM me, I'll hit you up tomorrow with some details:)

I would recommend a small fixed blade, one that can be carried in a pocket in a sheath. I like a lot of the small Bark Rivers, and they come in really nice handle materials. My wife liked my micro canadian so much, she took it and carries it around in her bag.

Traditionals are great, and if you don't want to go custom, Case, GEC, and Queen have a lot to choose from.

Also, I know you said you don't want another CRK, but the Umnumzaan is an incredible knife. If you like your Sebenza, you would probably like the 'Zann.

I'd say you need to delve into the traditional folder market. Lots of really amazing knives out there. You look to have the primary modern folders covered already. Maybe a SAK (Swiss Army) knife too.. heck, they are only $30 and do just about everything a folder should.

GEC 22 Magnum (coin pocket knife)

i have downsized my collection sold most of my knives only kept 5.
1) ESEE 4- Black blade with black linen micarta(dyed it myself). Got to have one fix blade.
2) Hinderer Gen 4 Slicer with full blue ti hardware(even clip and filler) and got a XM tool
3) Sebenza 21 Large with Micarta inlay (same birthday as me!)
4) Spyderco PM2 Black on Black
5) Benchmade Mini Ritter Grip(M390)

I'm looking to buy another knife but not sure what to get. I'm not even sure what size what blade steel or anything if that. By looking at my collection I have now I would love to get some suggestions for my next knife.

You have some relatively expensive production knives, so if you have the money, I would go custom.

If you are looking at expanding your fixed blade collection but are on a budget, I'd look at Becker's BK 5 and 9, and the ESEE Junglas

This is my update. I sold my mini ritter grip and replaced it with Benchmade 940-1
Also thanks to blues I have put in a order for Jim dunlap's traditional knife. He said it's going to take 3-6 weeks.
