I just felt like sharing my other hobby besides knives, woodcarving. I like to make bowls, spoons, cups/kuksas, and scoops. I usually use my BK9 to flatten the bottoms of the bowls. Here's an example.

Here are some finished examples. :)

Here's one more Becker knife picture to make sure it has enough Becker content. :)

I hope you like them and thanks for looking!

I only have a BK9 right now, so I think I'll need to get an 11 or 14 to pop some drinks. :D

Pretty cool, I always had a little interest in making stuff like that. What kind of carving knives of you carve the insides with? Thanks for sharing

I use a curved spoon knife, and a #7 Pfeil gouge.

Those look fantastic! How long does it take to make a spoon?

It depends on the style of handle, but on average without sanding about 2 hours.

Can you carve me a spork?:D Very nice work and great photography.

I've never tried a spork. I should sometime. :)

Thank you all!

Looks like good stuff to me man, I wish I had that kind of patience. I'm a fan of Skogkniv's youtube channel, he uses one of the kuska cups that I'm lusting after.

Pardon my ignorance, but what type of wood are you using? Nice work.

Awesome photos and handiwork - I've been wanting to take up the hobby, and it's certainly inspirational to see your work.

No problem, all of them besides the cup are birch. I'm in the process of making a bowl out of some beautiful cedar. I can post some pics when it's done if anyone is interested. You can always bookmark my Flickr if you want to keep up with what I'm carving. :)
