Updated Again: Tops .230 Machete review. Now VERY pic heavy

Oh yeah, when I got my Machete .230, I also got a 2012 TOPS catalog. I was looking through it, and there's the HT/RC hardness for the Machete .230. According to their own catalog, it's RC 56-58. Ontario machete's RC is 50-55, according to the Ontario Knife website.
If this is correct, the TOPS Machete will hold it's edge longer when compared to an Ontario machete, which is great!

This review will be expanded this evening when i have time to get my camera, but for now...

With my Boomslang and Condor Parang

beprepared;, i saw you have the condor parang aswell which i also have, how does the 230 compare to it?

i find i get pain in my hand and fingers from the shock vibration if i use the condor for more than half a day chopping branches (and also a few blister starting), do you ever get that with the 230 as it has an even thinner handle than the condor.

No hot spot on the machete.

The Parang handle is heavily modified. I have reshaped it completely, and put in a finger groove. It is very comfortable, but honestly not a tool that i reach for very often.

Any one find out about the HT for sure? Although the different rc numbers sound pretty conclusive. I like Tops products, they have held up nicely for me.
