those knives are great, but they just dont look right with the benchmade clips. im surprised you changed them, i actually think the emerson clips look awesome.

I've carried it for the last three days and it rides about 3/4" out of the pocket. When I opened it I thought it was gonna be worse than it actually is. To me it feels fine in the pocket, maybe slightly more narrow at it's widest point than my ZT560. Then again I had no problems carrying a blade as wide as a ZT300 so YMMV. I personally dont notice the size/weight.
