I just got these US Made knives and I wanted to do an initial reactions video. I had a couple of surprises in this video but I am happy that Kershaw is putting out American made production knives. They aren't perfect for sure but some nice options. Does anyone else have these and have opinions on them? Thanks for checking it out.

I have not had good luck with their autos, but have had a couple Links and highly recommended them.

Yeah, check the video, I was having some problems with the Auto as well. I also had some issues with the Dividend too..

Rather than try to funnel traffic to your channel why not do your review here?

Instead of doing a review here, and on all of the other 8 forums I frequent, why not do a video once and post a link? I like my way...but I am weird like that.

So you solicite 8 other forums to your channel. Okay then. Here's a thought, a nice written review with pictures can be copied and pasted just like your video link. Even so, this should really go in the review section. If you haven't been there you should visit. Lots of high quality writen reviews over there.

Thank you for the recommendation, if an admin prefers it in a review section, could they please move it?

I prefer to use youtube for reviews, if its all the same to you. Your suggestion, "a nice written review with pictures" does not sound like a good night for me, but thank you for offering up how my time is spent. If that is your preferred method of consuming information, then you won't find it on this post. Maybe next time!

I was initially excited by the Dividend but was ultimately disappointed, just as I was by the Link. After handling an imported 1220 Reverb, I think Chinese Kershaws may have finally surpassed the US made ones. I'm not sure if that's a good thing, however...it just is.

Nice video on the Kershaw's. I am not really of fan of assisted or autos but can appreciate a good review of any knife.
Keep it up and do not let others tell you different.

So, what you're saying is, rather than attempt to become part of this community, you'd rather spam the members for traffic to your Youtube channel hoping to generate some revenue for yourself. Got it. Revenue is more important than being a part of a community, amirite? Instead, why not stick around and get to know the place?

Interesting, am I taking away from this forum by posting a link? I thought I was being a member of this forum, as I have been a member of many forums throughout my life. Forums, message boards, facebook, youtube, are all evolution of information sharing.

In my opinion your posts hurts nothing. If I don't want to watch your video then I don't have to. The purpose of the forum is to talk about knives and perhaps spark some discussion, which your post does, to a degree. Besides, I am always on the lookout for new knife videos.

With that said I think you would ruffle less feathers by offering a bit more content here, maybe a little longer summary of your findings, which would allow a little better jumping off point for further discussion.

You're not taking anything away at all, you're just attempting to drive traffic to your video in the interest of revenue generation without bringing anything to the table yourself. Don't be surprised when you are called on it.

Excellent attitude, and one I share as well...don't like the video, move along to something more to your liking!
To the conspiracy theorists commenting here,
I have been making gun, knife, technology, travel, car, videos for about a year now. I just recently got the bug for knives and I have bought probably 50 or so over the last year. I discovered this forum about a month ago and have bought knives from two members and trolled a lot. My contributions to this forum have been in the form of reviews will be with videos. If any ignorant fools think there is money in making Youtube video's they don't understand the medium.

Youtube is a way to get a massive amount of information to people who are interested in the information. I am a visual learner and I appreciate learning from people who take the time to record, edit, and post a video for others to see and understand. When I am looking for a new product, I look out video reviews to better understand the product and learn something from people who have experienced that item. I made the video in order to contribute to the passion of knives. I have been a member of youtube since 2009 and they have never given me a single penny but you know about assumptions right?
