Use caution when dealing with darrex

Not pointing fingers at any of the second third or fourths but I wouldn't be surprised if someone on here told him what he had and offered him a lot more. So now everyone can assume that the sellers ethics are worth a few hundred bucks smh

Ugh. That would be low. I refuse to believe a fellow forumite would do such thing.

Someone want to send Darrex a link to this thread? That would be the first thing that should have been done. Let the person you are having trouble with you are bringing it here.

I told him I would be starting a thread.

Would love to hear seller's side.....IF he tells the truth.....until then....ignore.

Here I am. I apologize again, with pwrdbycotn, but as I said, I did not know that my model could be worth as much. and since I am a collector, I decided to keep it. However I have already done a lot of business here, and I sold, bought and exchanged many pieces, without, never had any problems. There are also users, here on bladeforum, who contacted me, to have the particular Italian models, and have been satisfied. And you can see from my feedback. This is the first time I think back to the sale. However, I suppose that many of you, would have done like me.

I also told pwrdbycotn, that if I had found a similar model, I would have contacted to let them have, but apparently, this knife was the most important of human relationships. no problem.

Sorry for my bad english.......

So now my question would be that money had exchanged hands, buyer was refunded can the feed back score be used now since the seller backed out of a done deal?

I've lost money keeping my word, because that was the right thing to do. Before you sell something do your due diligence researching value and what you want to ask for the item. You save alot of bad feelings and problems for yourself imo.

A person can break a deal, by changing their mind, after seeing such overwhelming buyer interest; then they will probably repost later at a higher price. From a business point of view, I don't believe that a person's reputation is really worth the extra $100 or so, that they may gain in the future sale. In this case, where the seller lives in Italy, he should be more careful doing business here in the USA, since many buyers and sellers already dislike the extra complications of international transactions. Now he is just giving us one more reason to avoid doing business with him.

There is no feedback to give. The deal was NOT COMPLETED. iTrader feedback is ONLY for COMPLETED deals.
The GBU is for what the OP wanted to explain. That is the start and end of it. Now, if the seller had a consistent record of putting something up for sale and backing out, that is different. Still, does not require feedback as it only serves as a "FU from the buyer to massage their injured egos", it's happened a lot in the past and it's a fact. Rather than provide a negative feedback mark, then I would say the only recourse would be to ban that specific person, that has also happened before on bother malicious buyers and sellers. In one case, the buyer would purchase something, and as soon as it arrived, they would incessantly complain to no end about anything and everything. The sellers would offer refunds and everything else in order to be reasonable, but it was never enough. That guy needed to go somewhere else. Same with a seller that would list an item, and then change his mind, day in and day out, it happened every day for almost 3 weeks and he was never sure what he wanted to sell and when he would sell a knife he would try and get it back for a discount from the buyer. That didn't sit right with people either.

darrex made a mistake, OP got all his money back, darrex explained that he didn't know what he had.
I miss the part where that makes darrex an honor-less turd.
Some of you guys really need to lighten up.
