Use your BFC slip-joint?

OK, I know this'll be a limited response, but out of curiosity, how many of you have used any of your BFC knives &/or plan on using the '09 Barlow that will hopefully be here in a few months?

I have the '07 Canal Street Cutlery Cannitler in D2 & '08 Northwoods med. Stockman in 1095, & have the '09 Queen/S&M Barlow in D2 coming in. I've used both of the BFC knives I have, although not too much.

This will definitely go in the rotation! This will be my first knife in this pattern and I plan on wringing her out:D
 
I do not collect safe queens. Once I hit 10 knives (and knew I was hopelessly addicted to acquiring more knives), I told myself that I would not buy a "show knife." I cannot wait til I can carry it in my pocket. Now that I have about 40 knives, I still am not worried about normal wear on any of them. I do hate it when I drop one on the concrete. It is like fingernails on a chalk board for me. I think about this knife at least once a day. It is great to have something to look forward to.

I don't do safe queens. I probably won't be using to to cut bailing wire or pry open metal ammo boxes, but it will definetly see some EDC pocket time.

If I buy it I use it! :thumbup:
 
I only went in for one, but there is no way I could not carry a 3 1/2" knife with full sized Clip, and Wharncliffe blades in D2, and Stag handles.
Even if it is a Barlow ;).
 
I will definitely use it. I have very few knives I don't use. Mainly ones that are not ergonomic or don't cut well sit around, otherwise I use them or give them away.
 
I too am looking forward to the barlow. I have one of each (96 ring knife, 97 Cannittler, 98 small stockman) and carry them on occasions.

As a matter of fact, all the stag was shipped yesterday so Queen should have it by the end of the week. We just have to hope we are in line before fall production starts.

That reminds me, I need to contact the non-conus guys. :D.
 
I ordered two in avoidance of this dilemma. I'll have one user and one safe queen to gawk at and fuss over.
 
This'll be my first one but I can assure you it's going straight into my pocket as soon as it gets here and I'll use the heck out of it. :)

As a matter of fact, I'm getting pretty anxious just thinking about using it. :D

Mine will get carried and used, I don't own any "safe queens" and don't plan on owning any. Of course i do have knives that see more use than others but I do try to switch around enough they all get some pocket time.
 
I was driving down the road and the forum knife popped into my mind. It will be in my pocket.
 
I've carried and used my '07 and '08 forum knives. I'm looking forward to seeing if the '09 can convince me to like Barlows.
