It was fun to play with the Axis assist again but I don't often carry assisted folders. It's a light user, these are aluminum scales and mark easily although chipping the coating is very hard to do, they are very durable in that respect. There might be a pepper sized spot here or there in the coating but otherwise the marks are just rubbing from pocket time. Blade looks blemish free and very sharp still. As with all Axis folders there is a touch of blade play which I haven't tried to tune out. NO BOX for this one, just the knife.
Trade interests are other Benchmade folders on the smaller side primarily. Little interest in Spyderco at this time. Other brands are possibilities send offers.
