Used my HEST to pry open the car door after an accident

We need more people in our society today that will stop and help someone in need. But the mentality of people today is if it's not going to benefit them then they don't want any part of it.

Isn't that the truth.

Threefeathers, great job man... I am glad there are people still walking on this big blue marble we call home whom would be willing to do something to help their fellow man other than standing by and watching.

Be Well

Three Feathers I commend you for being a responsible citizen and doing the right thing. We need more people in our society today that will stop and help someone in need. But the mentality of people today is if it's not going to benefit them then they don't want any part of it.

The problem is there are too many sue happy people. I myself, do not help non-family/friends do anything unless their life is in danger.

I just read this entire thread, who do I see about getting the last six minutes of my life back?

Knife content here is beside the point. I've seen hundreds of injuries like this. They're called skin tears. Regardless of how tuff the gentleman was, he's old. Not saying anything derogatory or inflammatory, but it happens to us all. Our elderly suffer from skin that thins with age. Whether the tear comes from our handling of said elderly in bed or from what I'm pretty sure is an airbag impact. Those injuries are skin tears. Pretty bad ones, but nonetheless skin tears. Good on you Frontline for helpin' a stranger! Not too many folks'll do that nowadays!

but Wolmann... where is all of the blood? I see clean seats! Clearly, there were never any people in those cars!

I can assure you that these cars were being driven, occupied at the time of the crash and resulted in fatalities. You can assume there should be blood on the seats but when bodies are ejected they tend to leave clean seats. The HEST would have been handy at the stolen car crash, one of the legs was stuck at it's resting point because the pantleg was wrapped around a pole. a knife was needed to cut the material...

I think Frenchmade may have just been pulling your leg (being ironic) with that post Wolfmann :)

I just wanted to look at the web site of dpgear.com in order to look at the HEST. Guess what:
my computer blocked the site and a window popped up telling me: This web site may damage your computer:D
Well, this HEST is really a dangerous tool.

Here is one with the three of us together. I'm on the far right.
