The edge is now sharp enough to slice paper, but prior to my sharpening, it looks like a monkey tried to use a sharpmaker on it while running. Full disclosure here - I tried to show it in the pictures as best I could. Note that the actual edge is not as wide as it appears to be, and that's just the monkey sharpening while running thing I described above. It is off center, enough to lightly rub the non-lock side. All that said, it still functions great and would make a great user. Comes with a MOLLE compatible sheath.
