User Sebenza

It's funny how hobbies can be so different from each other. A lot of musicians will pay top-dollar for vintage instruments, regardless of their cosmetic condition. A well worn guitar shows that it served someone well for a very long time.

I don't think anyone will pay top-dollar for a well used vintage/rare Sebenza. People want everything new-in-box in the knife world.

This 64' Strat is going for nearly $20,000:eek: but that's really common in the music world. If I had 20 grand, I'd play the hell out of this thing.

I'd pay a pretty penny for an H Sebenza. User or not.

How did this guy get an early release of the limited edition Sebenza Sting Ray? There is a leek somewhere at CRK headquarters!

Two Sebenzas and a Ti Mili snuck off my desk and hid when that pic showed on my puter screen.

That Strat is not in bad condition for a '64. I'm assuming it's real and not a "relic".

Could you imagin the controversy on the forums if knife makers took a clue from guitar makers and started "relicing" knives and then selling them as custom pieces for outrageous prices?

The knifeworld's version of the pre-beat Fender guitars is the blackwash finish.

Yep, it's a legit '64. Chicago music exchange is like heaven for musicians, they have guitars that are well over $100,000. A lot of famous musicians go there to "shop", that place is the real deal! Whenever I go there, I easily spend 5+ hours just tinkering with all the vintage stuff:D.

Haha, my thought exactly!

I saw that for sale "in fair condition" on Craigslist, too. It appears to be an original Sebenza, probably dated somewhere around 1995. Sad, really, but I imagine the owner got his money's worth.
