user spydie pics pls

I've field dressed squirrels (including this large fox squirrel) with my Native. Good enough? That lucky (I'll admit it) head shot was w/ a .22lr (Ruger 10/22) at about 60 yards to the base of the tree and about 30 feet up.

Not at all, besides thats kind of a hypocritical statement...so just because someone has scratches on the blade or some sign of actual "USE' that means they treat thier knives like crap??? Besides the photos im talking about where ppl put all thier knives out all pretty like, they usually mention their "user" knife which usually isn't in the photo but also leads u to assume they dont use the ones pictured..I just wanted to see some pics of spydies actually and obviously used....not something u just open mail with....then oil and put away cause that was the days work for the knife. Thanks for the photos for those that did post. When I get mine they will get used!!!

That was directed towards deacons post btw. Id also like to add that im not trying to bash those collections im talking abouta id love to have 10 para 2 or every spyderco they make. I just wanted to see some real users.

Hey bud, maybe your from this current generation that needs 24/7 photo documentation of EVERYTHING. But im gonna throw this one out there to ya. When using our EDC's, how the F'k does one take a photo of that? I mean, think about it bubs...when its needed, do you really have your camera ready to go? Seriously? The photos you see that are nicely taken, and everything is displayed...you will find those folks enjoy photography. But if I were you, look at your question, then ask yourself...where the Fk is the 3rd arm to take the photo?...and no, nobody is that talented :D

I think somebody most likely pissed in your cheerios this morning.

Right on Kahn!! I've eaten thousands of them! Far and away my favorite food on Gods green earth.

Btw, lucky counts. Nice shot. ;)

I usually clean mine up before posting pics. Use is mostly evident from convex edges, thinner grinds, some scratching and handles worn smoother. This doesn't show up too well in pics..

I don't think this thread is about abusing your knives. It's about users that have seen years of every day carry. When you use a knife, it will show wear. It is often a beautiful thing, and adds a sense of personality. Take 3rdGenRigger for example. That knife looks great for an 8 year old knife that he has EDC'd and although he has dropped it, scratched it, and used it, you can tell he has taken care of the knife and it has stood up to time, use, and the occasional accident

These are my most used spydercos.

I bought this Endura 4 used. It was so used that the tip of the blade stuck out above the handle from all the sharpening. I fixed that and now it sees some use by me!

The Salt sees regular water and work out carry:

Lastly, but not least, would be the old PM2. This is by far the best camp folder ever. One hand operation is better than any other knife, including ones with the axis lock. When I need a knife while camping, generally I am holding what needs cutting in my other hand:

Thank you, yes someone gets it. I just wanted to see pics of old/new yet heavily used spydies....didnt have to to be being used when pic was taken, just a pic of the used knife. i like seeing pics of knives that have a bit of personality and wanted to see spydies specifically

RIT dye. I love the yellow, but didn't like all the people asking me what the yellow thing was in my pocket.

I have no pictures and wouldn't know how to post them if I did. What I do have is a 1990 vintage SE Endura that was used daily for about 10 years and looks every bit of that. The serrations were sharpened away over time and the FRN handle has been worn smooth in places yet it is still slick opening, tight in lockup with zero blade play. That knife is now retired as a user but it's the knife that introduced me to Spyderco and I will always treasure it.
