That's what I used to think until I started seeing all these Pretty color combo handles shiny blades and people worrying about them matching to their shoes and purses! Chit I remember when all you could get was Black or Tan handles from Busse! Oh and by the way I'm the King of Queens!

There are so many combos now that I think about matching my eye color and my socks.

My beater SHBM HAS been beat with a hammer and it wouldn't surprise me if someone had used it to remove a concrete driveway. The spine is dented, the butt is BEAT in and deformed and I have throw it more than a few hundred times and MISSED the tree. And I would continue to bet my life on its integrity and it would still command a premium price on the market IF it ever came up...but that would only be if it were stolen. Why...because it is harder than a coffin nail and sharper than my razor and is backed by the best company in the business!

Amen brother. I only have the one SHBM, but it's mine, and it ain't goin' anywhere. Beat 'em if you got 'em.

Hypothetical question...

Say I list a Mint Never used or sharpened MrLrS in the same listing as one that has been a user at the same price.

Now, who in this room will honestly say they would say "I'll take it" to get the user first? I think that would be zero. If not I got a few users I'll sell you if you give me a "as new price"

No one ever said we don't like users, we just won't give as much as the same if mint. No brainer!

Heck I'm looking for a couple of users, but wouldn't give a mint price.

And to some(very young) that think there's people thats been here a while that's never used a Busse just hasn't been here long enough.
