Tool and Die Maker. Thats how my kids spelt it when they were texting..HA HA!!
So i went with that!

Mine comes from a time years ago that I went through a really bad relationship and was very depressed. For whatever reason listening to my friends problems made me forget my own.

Well after a while, I got tired of hearing them complain about all the drama in their lives and started telling them how to fix it. This got them saying that I was, "wise like a monk or something".

No clue where the onyx part came from but we did all use to drink a lot of tequilla so a lot of things we said never really made sense. Hense forth I was nicknamed onyxmonk

No, Western Middle Tennessee. Close to the river.Bout 15 miles from the Horton Compound
if i used the ferry. 55 miles if by road.

Long ago I was trained as an armourer. Mostly early medieval chainmail, since then its mostly custom jewelry. Its what I'd rather be doing instead of my regular job.....

When I was young and my dad was alive everyone called my dad "Kaz" which are the last 3 letters of my rather long last name.

some time later on after his death a few friends started calling me "TKaz" for a nick name.

The "T" is for Tim and well you know the "Kaz" part. :)

Search and Rescue call sign; folks on Wind River SAR all have "River #'s" for radio use...

Out of reverance to one of the greatest Knifemakers ever! (and the most giving person I have known). RIP

I still skate at 40, though mostly longboarding now - some pool, and I've been pushing Mongo since I was 16. ;) here are some of my longboards, just for fun (the lengths, left to right, are 52", 42", 41", 32", 24"):

as for my username, no big mystery. two of my initials added to the fact that (when I'm not in the mountains) I like urban-center, downtown-loft living.

I'm 40 also and have switched to long boards, was on mine today. I am riding a Carver deck these days...trying out their crazy C7 truck.

My user name is pretty easy to explain.

Some people call me Big T.

Big T was taken. So was Fat T, or BigFat T.

So BigfattyT it is.

I am big, and fat, so it works.

I forget.

I can help!

Everytime the topic of "The world's greatest Dads" comes up in the shop, everyone always says, "Howz about Kim's dad?" . . . "You mean, Mike ?". . . . Which in turn, always leads to a resounding, Heck yeah!!!!!!". . . Over the years we have simply shortened "Mike Heck yeah!" down to MikeH

Here's to one of the world's greatest Dads!,

Cheers!

Jerry :D
