I like it, but have a few questions about it.
How is the pommel attached, I don't see any pin?
Where is the point of balance?
Seems to me it would be even more handle heavy than say my D2 version.
Edit:- Since writing the above I have got to handle one at the local dealer.
I don't like it as much now.
What I do like is:- The choil is nice, but would have liked it a touch deeper.
The straight clip, which gives a stronger tip, but would like it concave just to keep with aesthetics and tradition.
The Guard is narrower than that on my D2, so is the pommel, very nice.
What I don't like is the handle, specifically the shape, which is reminiscent of the Mk1, not the Mk2.
For me, the palm swell is too far forward, and the the G-10? is heavy and slippery.
A handle with canvas micarta scales, like the Hiderer Full tang, would have been better.
For me, all Ka-bar have done with this knife is made a longer, full tang Mk1,sigh.
