USPS lost my Blur... #*$&@!!

Seems like it won't work out very well. Another package disappeared, something for my coworker. Also marked delivered, this time at 9:52am, when no mail carriers have ever been around. No package was actually delivered, but it's gone too. Huzzah.

I got a letter from Consumer Affairs, which is literally useless. Odd that they were able to very very quickly deliver this letter, but not my $%*#ing package. So, I'll be on the phone all day trying to get the carrier manager to look into whoever is handling my package. I have little hope though.

Screw them. Screw them all. God help that carrier if I find them.

This is why I wrap my expensive packages in Wrapping Paper... If it looks like a Gift for a baby or something it, its not something people think is worth stealing... sounds silly but it works... I did it for a knife I sent Mario :)

Yes you did, and it worked pretty well. I have to hand it to you sir.

How much more does it cost for signature confirmation? just curious
I'll likely ask Dave to throw that on my orders going forward, but clearly now it doesn't make much difference, unless I can retroactively apply said signature confirmation to the missing package.

I've gotten plenty of packages from Dave without an issue. My 0303, 0301, Breakout, Skylines, the first Blur, two 0560s and a 1082 all came fine. Just had to be this one time, when the normal carrier had "help" from some faceless schmuck who maybe went Christmas shopping in the mail bag.

on a auction site I bought 2 smith and Wesson American made switchblades. it has been over 2 months ago. I filed fraud charges on this person and they said they just got the box back from the post office and are resending it to my address on the contact info of the site. They way they tell it the box has been floating around for the pass month. No matter how I sip some thing I always get a tracking number on it. that is the same address that is one the letter/postal money order. I am wondering did the post office screw up or was he trying to scam me??

Sorry :( Maybe you can have a chat with the person who delivers it, poke around and ask questions. Hopefully something works out, I think were all pretty bummed for ya.

Have a good X-mas anyways. There are many knives in the sea, everything happens for a reason, you can do better than that, life is like a box of chocolates, there is greener grass on that side of the fence, I believe in you. I hope you understand what I am saying here?

Just a little side note here guys, I have mailed virtually thousands of packages, most first class and fast I might add. I have only had two packages ever go missing that did not turn up. One was on a truck that wrecked, the other was not found. So it just isn't worth the thousands of dollars for sig. confirmations and I will never pay for insurance for the PO to do their Job. My guess is that this knife will still show up, and if it doesn't we will cross that bridge when or if we get to it. Just have a great Christmas Mario and don't let this little annoyance ruin it. I have at least 8 more of those on the shelf and if one needs your name on it , so be it.

Dave

Dave, I know I've said this a thousand times but you are a Great guy! This is why If anyone ever asks me about ZTs or Kershaw I send them straight to you! I think I've made at least 25 customers for you in the past couple of months and they all were amazed at your prices and customer service! Your the Man!

Dave, I will always continue to support you. I jumped the gun earlier, USPS's website was being goofy. At any rate, keep doing what you are doing, and Mario I hope your package turns up.

Put in my two cents for Dave. He is a high class act and I hope that everyone reading this thread knows that. Please do not let the Postal difficulties deter you.

Dave is tops!!!! I also hope it still shows up! Richard be careful filing fraud chargers on an item sent that violates two federal laws....Sending switchblades over states lines as merchandise and use of USPS for sending them....Both are Federal Law violations, and yes it is done all the time, but making a complaint to the Feds to say my illegally sent switchblade did not get to me and now I want you to do something about it...really?

Dave

Forgive me, I just get a little worked up with the PO when things like this happen. It's probably a side effect of being a NYer. I know in the bigger picture it's just a small setback, and you know I always come to you for my Kershaw fix and will continue to do so. You're great, and you help me out, and everyone loves you for good reason.

Like I said, I've got so many pieces from Dave, and haven't ever had an issue. It should go without saying this has not a thing to do with Dave, just likely the holiday goings on of the PO, hence the title.

My Christmas was actually pretty fantastic, and again, I'm glad to have come across you kershawguy. :D

The Blur is not a switchblade. Not even by definition in the US's vague knife laws. Not trying to split hairs ( pun intended :D ).

Steel130, I agree but read his post!!! RICHARD'S Post. He post all the time in the auto section here and sells REAL switchblades accross state lines and freely post it. He said it was an S&W SWITCHBLADE!! So if you going to "split hairs"....Please read carefully....thanks :)

My bad Tom, no offense meant :). I should have been more observant.
