Usps: Positive Resolve

Well when you involve humans mistakes are inevitable. Then when you get past mistakes you get the malfeasance.

Let us know how it worked out Icky. Maybe a case of muti-tasking gone wrong but normally they will get your parcel to you.

Hoping its the first..not the latter.

Hey Patrick! This sucks!
There is a member here, really good guy, who works at USPS and has gladly helped out a good number of members here when the PO hits a rough spot.
His handle is Monofletch. Shoot him a PM.
Really hoping this gets squared away for you.
Good luck and keep us updated!
Joe

Seems I went full "Chicken Little" there for a minute.

I took a ride down to the PO..early, 'bout 7;30am on the off chance I might find someone..sure enough...

I was given the wrong key, package was in another locker.. Temporary sub carrier, I was told...Luckily she was there as well... USPS was very understanding and helpful..I have the knife in hand and feel foolish w/ a stupid grin on my face.

Thank you all very much for the midnight hour advice and council..

palonej..Thank you for the heads up on Monofletch..couldn't remember his name. Happy his assistance wasnt needed.

Danke..how much do I owe you on that bet,,?:)

Again..thank you, brothers.

Thank you all very much for the input and steadfast

^ I read your OP last night, and empathized with your plight. I've think most of us buying/selling knife enthusiasts have all experienced something similar to your situation.

I'm really happy that this worked out, and you found a quick resolution on this early Saturday morning. Now you can get out and enjoy the rest of your weekend! :)

Monofletch (John), is one of BF's #1 assets! He's personally assisted me on a couple of occasions, getting packages that had been spinning in certain USPS hubs, spit out and on their way. He drinks a lot of coffee, too! :D

I thought that may have been the case. I carried mail for a minute, (35 years) Don't feel bad, Sebenza can do strange things to us.:)

Excellent news Pat!!
Now go and enjoy that beautiful knife.........that you did NOT post any pics of! If you ask me?? Little selfish!!

When I purchased my Sebenza I paid for USPS Priority shipping. Well after waiting three days come to find out the retailer messed up and shipped it UPS Ground. Took about 8 days to get here.:eek::eek::) Thanks Icky and Joe.

Not a great pic..taken on the fly

8 days, skyhorse? That must have rough indeed..less than 24 hrs for me and it cost me a couple more gray hairs..It certainly is a special kind of nightmare...8 days must have been slow torture.

Thanks again, everyone.

Thank you, BladeForums
