I have shipped with USPS priority for many years and all has been fine. Just dropped off a trade last Thursday and it shipped Friday. It is now Thursday and It did not arrive to the other person. He shipped same day and his got here two days ago! We are all the way across the the U.S. (VA and CA) but still...Uggh now im sure he is getting frusterated :(:(

Check your receipt and verify you got the zip code exactly right, each digit. Much of the time a delayed shipment arrival stems from an incorrect zip code. It will go to the wrong city first and when they see they can't deliver it they will manually correct the zip code to match the address label city, give it a new bar code and turn it around and you start over from square one time wise.

Sometimes it's the sender's error and sometimes it's entered wrong at the PO, but none the less it's wrong and the automated reading equipment will route it wherever the bar code on the postage stamp specifies.

Something like this could have happened in your case.....maybe.

just shipped usps priority......sent last Friday from NW Ohio, going to the middle of Ohio.
The package took a trip to Pennsylvania, and turned around, came through Cleveland and arrived at the spot it needed to be yesterday afternoon:thumbdn:
I guess I should just be glad that it got there:D

I was inside the Chicago Metro Surface Hub a couple of years ago and saw several boxes of mail going from Los Angeles to San Francisco, apparently via Chicago.

UPDATE: Well it turns out the $#$@ at the shipping store sent it to the wrong adress (to another person I traded with). He will ship it to the real recipiant
