Utah bound this summer

Good luck Dave. We landed in SLC for a transfer flight to Idaho Falls on our way to Yellowstone and it was amazing scenery. The Mountains were incredible

looking at houses :)

Dave, you've found some of the most scenic country in the US, and that wonderful salt lake.

I've been there once in the 80's for church business, hard to leave. Skiing (though hard to visualize you on ski's :p ) hiking and off roading are just the tip of the iceberg.

Best of luck and do enjoy! I'm a bit jealous. :D

And if there isn't enough to do there along those lines, drive a few hours east to Colorado...... :D

mmmm, Colorado, I went to the Cabot Ranch there some time ago, it was stunning. But, fuel injected 6 cylinder truck and over a mile high was an "interesting" combination. Felt like I had a 17 foot horse trailer on the back on the hills.

I'd love to live in the mountains again, any mountains. I very much miss Ruidoso, New Mexico.

Hopefully you don't move into any haunted houses! Sorry, just finished season one of American Horror Story. Everything it ghostly to me these days.

I drove across Utah while moving to Oregon a little over a year ago. The Bonneville Salt Flats were impressive. Awesome sunsets and lots of old cars. Hope it goes smooth.

getting there. looks like we will be renting til we find the dream home. about 1 month left

Best of luck with the move, I love Utah. I have family in SLC, Sandy, Kamas, Lehi, and Saratoga Springs on the back side of Utah lake. I try to make it up that way several times a year to fly fish in Heber city/Midway and the surrounding areas. There is so much to do in Utah, especially if you love the outdoors.

If you think I can help with anything let me know.

SpyderPhreak the Green looks amazing, I have heard so many good things about it from other anglers. It is on my to do list but there is SO much great water in Utah near where I stay I never want to drive the extra distance, especially after the 11 hour drive to get to my uncles place. One of these days I will make it up there, how are the crowds? Great photos.

Utah Valley Univ. is right near where I live: easy access to sheaths from now on :D
There's a bit of a rental problem here, what with two universities in Provo/Orem, but pricing is reasonable.

Dave, I wish you and Nancy all the best! Picking up and moving to a different state is not easy, and takes a lot of dtermination. We found that out when we moved from Illinois to S/W Missouri, but are thankful we did it. Good luck with getting set up again; I'm sure your customers will understand.

The Mormon Tabernacle Choir...WOW! Kudos to Nancy!;):thumbup:
