VA Hospital for routine tests this AM. Stay tuned.

Glad to hear all's well with you Uncle. Or rather, "normal"

I'm never really sure what that means when it comes to people in this forum

I am glad to hear that everything is OK. I hate going for checkups myself, maybe I am just paraniod.

It's good to here everything is alright.
I was kinda concerned about the "routine tests." It's been my experience that that's almost never good.

Hey Bill. Glad to hear all is well! I gather you were in the armed services if you get care at the VA. I was in the Army for 6 years but no service connected disabilities here so I do not go to the VA. I did not end up in a combat zone since little went on from 1980 to 1986 (just Grenada and Lebanon as I recall). They opened up a new VA hospital here in West Palm Beach, Florida in 1997. My brother is a doctor with the VA and was amazed. This is a big hospital and the VA has been concentrating on clinics in the last 10 years. This hospital was approved around 20 years ago it turns out. The hospital is always full! I wish you the best of health. Tom.

Bill, Another "tin can" sailor?...Me too! I was on a destroyer as well...six years in the Navy. Good to hear you are ok!

I was on the Warrington, Scal, DD843. She was one of the destroyers involved in the incident that set off the Viet Nam war. And, I think, the only US warship to take damage and casualties in the war. To the best of my knowledge she went into mothballs around 1972 and was sold to Taiwan later to be turned into razor blades or some such product.

Yesterday was just a ticker check up -- cardiogram. Looked normal except for a little scar tissue from heart attack.

Thanks for kind words, all.

Bill,
The next time you are down this way bring some of your service pics. I would love to see them. I think Uncle has done just about everything.

Bill,
Glad all is ok! Bill, surprised you didn't inform everyone on this forum is NORMAL!"I'm as normal as one can get!Oh
N000, Koz & That NDN are going to say something about that!
jim

We do have some normal people on this forum. For instance, Jim is a perfectly normal (indeed, archetypal) specimen of a man deeply in the throes of HIKV. And I am just an average normal brachiopod ... you can find many more just like me on Remulak....

Cougar; Culdroth the Remulakan Highmaster will be displeased you've contracted HIKV
from the Earth's inhabitants. You will be doing your next tour of duty studying the
droppings of slime lizards on the distant rings of Meepsorp when he hears of this.
I submit the following solution for your
immediate thought processing. Have the
one known as "Uncle Bill" send Culdroth a
Khukuri on the next transport vessel. This should render Culdroth irrational and
docile on this matter.
If this plan does not succeed, I give you
the following departing information:
<a href=http://albums.photopoint.com/j/View?u=1583598&a=12117338&p=45000098>See my photo, lizard at PhotoPoint</a>

End of transmission. Beldar.

Uncle,
Include Cougar with Koz & the NDN as being"DIFFERENT"! Billpaxton is "not" I repeat"not" normal! He's another Rusty! An we all know Rus "Is not normal"!

Sending a khukuri to the High Master is an excellent plan, Beldar, but I cannot spare one from my research. Perhaps you could send him one?

The directions on how to resuscitate a lizard are very interesting. Will the same method work on alligators? I suppose there's only one way to find out....
