I sent the lizard resuscitation instructions to a friend who happens to be an ER nurse and she suggested considering the relative lung capacities of a human and a lizard, unless great caution is used the instructions would be more accurately titled "How to pop a lizard."

That problem shouldn't arise with alligators, though.

She also advises care in the "massage directly behind the frontal legs" stage -- apparently massaging a lizard directly behind the hindal legs is illegal in 34 states. To say nothing of alligators....
