Fritz. I would call my blade gun metal gray, definitely not black. As far as the handle color goes, maybe it's just lighting differences in the pics.
great feedback on this knife. I really like how the blade shape adds weight to the blade, meshed with the grip texture on the flipper make it a very consistent openner. I am carrying a pro-Lux right now like a good new product advocate I have to be but I Really Like the vantage force series. When the dust settles think the Vantage Force Pro will become my EDC
well the blade should be black instead of gray and every pic I have seen the g-10 is very black with blue highlite.

I do love that dymondwood lookBeen thinking of switching the handles off to my pro but I have no idea what taking a vantage apart is like.
Haven't done it, but the current issue of Knives Illustrated has an article on the Vantage line by Abe Elias that shows one he completely disassembled and he said it was easy.
