Vaquero Adventure

Walking around wearing a mask and taking photos while pointing a knife at a tent and approaching it seems like it would understandably cause concern for anyone around or anyone passing by.
They're on so much IV drugs around there, it would take something truly epic to phase them.
I've been cleaning up the surrounding area of used syringes from time to time:

Met a girl whose friend got jabbed by a syringe while walking around downtown; someone has to clean that crap up, and the addicts aren't about to. :(

What is very surprising for me instead are the pics with Police Officer and outside the Police Station . Round here going around dressed up like that would be very dangerous! The Balaklava but specially the... bullet proof vest (?), is sooo terrorist outfit :p that any LEO would jump on you before even letting you say something. A curiosity: here to be able to buy a bullet proof vest you need either to proof you’re a LEO or show very solid credentials as a private security operator of a certain level. Are you in the field or it’s legislation so relaxed in Canada in this respect? Thanks! Interesting post!

In Ontario, you can just buy it. In some other provinces, a security license or firearms license will let you buy it, and I have both of those.

I traded my Colt .38 revolver for the vest with level 3A plates...because I was getting a .357 anyway. :)
And since I ain't gonna sit around the apartment like a freak waiting for the Communist invasion of Canada, or any other thing that won't be happening, I use it to meet hot alien girls and battle Ash. ;)

Of course, looks like Ash was just gonna shoot me in the face, so I guess the vest wouldn't help much.

Edited to add: The alien girl also appears in my second book, Brutal Justice. She is the girl with the sword.

Will there be a Brutal Justice 2 ?

I can definitely see another book in the same genre of Stabman and Brutal Justice, but not a direct sequel, most likely.
With Brutal Justice being a guidebook, and one that I put everything I could think of into, there isn't much room to expand, unless some new angle pops into my mind.

And with Stabman, I really don't want to do what Frank Miller did.
The Dark Knight Returns was amazing, but then he went and did The Dark Knight Strikes Again...which he should really not have done. :(

But who knows, I might just get into the right frame of mind, and have all sorts of Stabman ideas and plotlines pop into my head! :)

I really don't understand most of these photos and what they are supposed to prove but pointing a shotgun at a person and having your finger on the trigger is totally unacceptable. There should be some jail time here and maybe a mental health exam. I question why the forum is even allowing this.

It is a prop.

It is a prop.

Exactly.
But lets all make laws that put people with plastic guns in prison or mental institutions...that would make us all safer. o_O

And hey, Mr. Sidehill, the chainsaw hand wasn't real either, just so ya know (man, some people...).

When did dressing up as a fictional character become a crime? o_O

It isn't.
Good thing certain people don't rule the world, eh? :D

Street theater ! Did you not notice the CHAINSAW prosthesis ? It's like a Halloween costume . But , yes , the gun should be fake or disabled before using as a prop .

It sure was fake.
The guy made it himself, and did a pretty good job of it, but it is fake as hell.
Quite light too, which makes it easier to hold out like that for extended periods while someone takes photos (my real double barrel 12 gauge shotgun is about 7 pounds, and not comfortable to shoot one-handed).

You're braver than I am, Stab. This would be me cleaning up those syringes:

o_O:D

If I had that, I'd use it. :)
At least I had quadruple thickness gloves; that helps a certain amount.
Addicts leaving their filthy syringes just pisses me off more than pretty much anything else.
I figured I could just be mad and complain to people about it, or I could throw them out.

So, I threw them out.
Pretty much every Tim Horton's bathroom (and many other eating places) have a sharp's disposal box now, so I tossed the disgusting syringes, threw out the gloves, washed my hands, and rewarded myself with a double chocolate donut.
It was good.

thats something i wish was much more prevelent in america. sharps boxes. down here doesnt exist. we have addicts that shoot up in an alley behind my shop. also some.drunks who smash bottles there as well. leave their mess on the ground where kids waddle through the alley way and could get hurt. irks me.

had a young kid die of opiod overdose in the laundrymat attached to that alley in their bathroom the other day. its a real problem that seems to get worse everyday.

It is getting worse. :(
One of my friends has a brother in law who works as a teacher near Toronto. The day has to start for him a couple hours before the kids arrive, because they have to do a "needle sweep" of the school grounds.
A solution will have to be found, but that is beyond what I can figure out.

On the lighter side of things, the Vaquero Grande helps you do better science:
