Vasquez Peak Wilderness trip....lots of pictures.

What kind of tent is that?
It is an MSR Hubba. A little one person tent. I love it. I have wanted a little 1P tent for a long time. I did a lot of research and settled on this one. You can set it up with the fly and ground cloth to save weight if you don't have to worry about bugs. All of the poles are interconnected, with little hubs at the ends, hence the name "Hubba". Sets up easy and fast. In this adventure I forgot the poles.

It shattered when I used it as a hammer. You know there was a sign on the trail that said "Have you seen George Gibson?" Maybe I found him. Mountain Lion? Bear? This area was once part of the Winter Park ski area and a lot of backcountry skiers use it. Maybe he fell and got eaten.

Hmmm... Well, I'd notify the authorities asap. Perhaps it's human, perhaps not, but better to be wrong and a little embarassed, than right and the family of Mr. Gibson never finding out what happened. That bone look too human to ignore. Not that I mean to put an extra burden on you, but I'd have to be sure if I had found it...

stunning! All these photo's of America are really beautiful. I've never seen so many tree's, mountains or country like that. I'm definately going to holiday in the US one day :)
We hardly ever see the wilderness of America in Australia, we tend to see the Cities a lot in TV programs but its rare to see the outback.
