Here ya' go clich.
The two set-ups. One on the left is designed for fuel gel and tabs. One on the right is a good twig stove but also works well with fuel tabs and/or an alcohol stove.
Stoves in place. Here's the fit I was talking about (right stove and cup). The Chinese stove was too small to let the cup nest inside as shown. You HAD to perch it on top.
Trangia works better if you angle the cup perched across the stove. Stove basically becomes a pot rest and windbreak in this case.
Bottom of the USMC solid bottom version. I still haven't tested mine.
