Vernal Equinox Washboard Give-away

I have been wanting to try out a Washboard. A new design with a slight (mostly cosmetic) issue is the perfect chance. I'm definitely in!

Thanks for the chance!

Compared to a normal person, I have WAY too much sharpening gear. I find it hard to justify buying anything more... but I do from time to time. I've been intrigued by the WashBoard since I first saw it, but haven't yet allocated the money to get one. So thanks for the opportunity to maybe get one in this give away. :) I'm in.

Brian.

As you know, I've greatly appreciated the feedback the Washboard provides as I increase my sharpening skills, and enjoy each new development as you continue to both fine-tune and expand your "system."

I'm IN for this one, but am more realistically hopeful that you keep at it, and maybe let me know when you (think you) are done with the refinements and improvements? I'm wondering when to opt in again, when you just plain keep improving everything about what you're doing. ;)

(Thank You.)

I've been eyeing your washboards since they were first announced. I'd love to give this one a shot and share my experience with the forum. Thanks for the chance! I'm in.

Lol, I do have a habit of "adding on", am easily distracted by possibilities. Most of the mods have been to the manual, and I put up an electronic copy of that on the current sale thread - is up to 12 pages. Am pretty sure the bases are the last update, though I might switch to a different type of wood. Red oak would probably feel a little better on a countertop, but for backpacking etc the pine or poplar will be lighter weight, so I'm still just considering.

It would be nice to have a small brass gong one could rap with the handle of their knife prior to sharpening, just to purify the intention somewhat...or maybe a brass bowl, then it could hold the compound slugs. Speaking of the compound, I've been wondering if a drop or two of Juniper berry oil could be worked into the mix without effecting the handling qualities...I like the smell of Juniper....
