I have been shopping around for another knife and came across the A100. Wow, it looks like a true classic!

It seems to have a long history. Does anyone carry it as their EDC? Also, long term user feedback would be great.

I haven't used it, but I do own other Emerson knives. My opinion is that one of the best thing about Emerson knives are the ergonomics. My CQC 12 and CQC8 fit my hand like a god damn glove. You lose that with the A100. It's so symmetrical and flat.

I'm looking foward to the mini A-100, its going to be a real nice EDC

Try the A. Nothing ventured...
Haze, I thought you EDC the WH?

I put that away and gave the old small regular Seb spin for a while.

Still keep a 12 or Persian near at hand though :D:thumbup:

Thanks for all the replies. The only place I've found an available PE satin is on ebay...I'll have to wait until my normal dealer gets them back in stock.

The A100 is an interesting model. For now, I'm into the Emersons with curves.

Got them at Warriors and Wonders.ca

i dont know that the A100 has a long history i suppose its kinda similar to the custom viper (which does have a long history) or the I&I tanto but the A100 is pretty much a newcomer to the EKI line.

great little knife though.

The A-100 is new to the production knives line up but apparantly
the pattern has been in use one way or another for a long while.

The A100 is a great knife, it is in my rotation, I had it customized by Krein and Ferrrk with the framelock. It is kinda big, but it is one that Mr. E himself carries often. Super sharp, very simple in design but deadly. Makes a great camp knife, pretty light, and tight. Stong with Ti liners, smooth opening, G-10 is some of the best money can buy. Recommend one highly, hope that helps.

I hanging on for the mini A-100, I think a pimped out piece could easily be a constant EDC for me.

Like Jeffz sais, frame lock, regrind, and il probably go for carbon fiber with a Ti bolster on the off side.

I really cant wait to get started on this one now :p:thumbup:
