I would buy one in a heartbeat, but I won't own a non-waved Emerson that I can't carry tip down.

As soon as they drill it for either carry style, I'll buy one. Until then it's waved Emersons and my Spyderco Military.

Tapping holes for a clip is easy, the cost of a good tapping kit is only about 10-20 bucks and can be used many times.

then ya wont own an EKI as i have never seen one tip down, not ever, waved or not, other than the BM 970 series anyway which is an emerson design.

EKI is tip up which is what something i like about them, waved or not.

i suppose, as haze says, if its important to ya, ya could drill it but i see no big pro to doing it myself, YMMV i suppose though.
