Very stiff opening..help please.

I know the problem was caused by me, the thing is - it wasn't really fixed by CRK when I sent the knife back. What must have happened is that I pinched one of the washers on the bushing, overtightened upon reassembly, and kinked the washer.

All,

We will likely now include washers to the list of parts we will not send out.

Please don't do this. I have not had a need for new washers, but I would hope to be able to obtain new washers without having to send the knife to you in the event I mess them up or just happen to get extra gritty material in the pivot area. I'm quite willing to fine tune them to get them right.

Sorry if you think I meant you, nothing personal as I believe this happened to a lot other guys. Guess we all just love to tinker ! Yeah, I hope washerswill not be on the forbidden list. I also wanted a blade stop pin and screw together with the sleeve and they a will only allow the purchase of the pin and screw, but not the cylinder sleeve because of tight tolerances. Something I still can not comprehend as these items are mostly included in some knife kits.

Had same problem. After reassembly silky smoothness was inconsistant.Try flipping bushing end for end.I mark bushing end (sharpy) and reassemble same way every time. Works for me
