Video Games

Long time gamer also, from the 2600 days. Big fan of Fo3 and FoNV to a lesser extent. Didn't care for Skyrim compared to Fo3. Currently Playing Diablo 3 and working on my backlogged collection of PS3 games when I can.
 
Been an Xbox fan since the system's release. Have evolved over the years with each new console and now I mostly play Battlefield 3 on the xbox 360 slim. I stopped CoD after Black Ops because the servers were full of 12 year olds and the game just wasn't as much fun anymore, not like the good days of Call of Duty 2. Besides FPS games (all started with Halo), I have been getting into the Silent Hill series and am just starting out Silent Hill 2 in the HD collection. I use to play those open-world games (Elder Scrolls, Fallout 3), but I tend to get bored with that huge expanse of freedom of choice, and sinking 100+ hours into a game is just not for me. I am a fan of the Assassin's Creed series as well, looking forward to the new release this fall.

I play a ton of Forza Motorsport 4. I also play Modern Warfare 3 sometimes, but it's gotten really, really old.

Wow! That's a lot of gameplay. I love that game too, and the whole RE series overall. I haven't collected them, but have played the major ones (with number, not the spinoffs). Last summer I cooped the fifth one with my cousins xbox. Good memories already. :)
 
Been playing ArmA 2 since it came out. Really fantastic mil-sim game when you run ACE and ACRE mod with it, COD and Battlefield just cannot get anywhere close to the level of gameplay. But it's a pretty slow paced game, good for weekends when you have nothing planned.

Have you gotten into DayZ? I've been playing the hell out of it for a month now. It's an awesome simulation of total anarchy with zombies. 50 players in Chernarus spawn with a pistol and a can of beans, and they have to work together (or kill each other) to survive the zombie onslaught. Weapons and ammo are sparse, you go hungry if you don't eat, and the tension of having your buddy shoot you in the back for your food and gear is always there. It's quite possibly the best zombie game ever.

Minecraft was awesome when I bought it, but it grew old pretty fast. One of the things I didn't like about minecraft was to see the results of your no-life and time wasted rendered as creations if you know what I mean. :D
 
PC gamer here and have always been since about the early 1990's.

Currently putting plenty of time into the dayz mod for Arma2. Incredible zombie game. Also I play BF3 a lot and CS 1.6 and source. I tried the CS.GO, but was not impressed with it and did not like it.
 
I'm stuck on the old original Unreal Tournament. Play Bot rocket arena deathmatches on a favorite level. Game graphics are just good enough to get the job done well. Lots of character skins downloads for super heroes and nekkid women. Extra gore, bouncing body parts, blood splatter, scorched earth, name labels for bots when you aim at them. Run in slow mo and dodge rockets. Good, dirty, fun.
