Wow! The first part of the footage is amazing in itself. But then at 5:10, the eagle grabs a goat and pulls it off the cliff and holds onto it all the way down.

Amazing birds. This is courtesy of our esteemed BF member Ren The Devil's Trailboss in another thread, but is a must see here.

Shiite Brian! Now how the heck am I supposed to go to sleep tonight after watching THAT! Unfriggin' real is all i gotta say, and I've handled young Golden Eagles before, as well as some other raptors/birds of prey. It looked surreal in some of the filming as if it was in Lord Of the Rings or something. I'd like to know how they got those camera angles; and all the rest of the shoot info.

ive seen a video of a golden eagle taking out a small deer! i love nature! great video!

I watched a Sharp Shinned hawk in my yard today take a bird from the birdfeeder area in similiar form. I think it grabbed a sparrow of some kind, as it was down and gone in one motion.

That was almost certainly a Marty Stouffer-style "documentary"; that's how. Nonetheless, there is some neat stuff in there.

As a lover of BOPs(birds of prey) thanks for posting. Incredible.
If you get to Boise Idaho go to the birds of prey facility there. Well worth the time.

Yesterday I watched a video of a guy swimming with a great white shark, today this...

Damn, you gotta love the net!

Thanks for the link

Holy cow! That is just amazing to watch. I never thought there really that big.

That was great to watch, amazing stuff.
I was in Central park, NY having lunch with my wife and out of no where a Peregrin Falcon swooped down and ripped up a pigeon that was waiting for scraps from us.
My wife lost her appetite:barf:, which was fine for me, because I was hungry.:D

That is some absolutely incredible footage. I've never seen an eagle chased off by a goat before. And the sheer power and grace exhibited by the birds is breath-taking.
