Hopefully, this will forever silence the arguments about stock Becker scales. Enjoy. Share. Archive for future reference.

I pasted the link. What am I doing wrong?
I recall a story of the man who made the EK walking into a room and stabbing an oak table to prove that a gaurd wasn't necessary.
For the record I think the shape of the 16s handles are the second best of any knife ever. But the scales and attachment method are in my opinion cheap and not well done. I'm not sure what you are trying to disprove but without trying to be rude had you stabbed that tree full force you would be looking at a hand full of stitches.
Not sure. It takes me there, but it doesn't play. I posted a video a few hours ago, and I'm having the same problem with it. I've not posted many videos on youTube. Do they have to be approved first?

You do not know how to use a Blade Properly is all I could Tell from Video
Nice video, certainly shows off the great ergos of the Becker handle design.
No, it's not safe to oil up your knife and stab a tree hence your nervousness and half hearted stiff shouldered stabs. The same reason you stopped swinging it into the stump. It was slippery. A couple more swings and your knife would have left your weakened grip. A couple of real stabs and you would have cut your hand. A hand full of oil on a smooth plastic handle is a recipe for disaster. You didn't prove what you set out to in my opinion. Watching the video and seeing where your hand ended up on those half hearted stabs and on those last couple hacks......If you put 100% force, into any motion, you'll miss your target almost every time. Not a safe practice with cutting tools. I was stabbing pretty hard, and don't really feel it was necessary to put any more force into it. If it was into any other material the blade would've pierced through. The point was to disprove the idea that the scales are unsafe due to them being so smooth.

You May attribute your non accident to handle design and Mr Becker but the cheap smooth plastic did nothing for you. Perhaps a comparison to some g 10 or micarta? Please don't.
You've missed the point entirely. Keep watching until you get it. [emoji6] Sorry, the blade isn't a vintage, sterile, limited edition that's never seen the light of day. [emoji23]
