Anyone can pause that video and see how close you came to disaster. Anyone can see that your stabs were very measured and weak.
Yes, the proof is there. You did a stupid thing to prove an irrelevant point. And repeatability is key. Hopefully no one else is dumb enough to try this again. This test repeated by 10 people would result in disaster.

I could probably do more with your 13 than you could do with all of your knives. I'm sorry, but you've been on my nerves for a while. I'm also a little tired of your useless posts that do nothing more than boast your most recent purchases. And, let me guess, your skills are more than likely limited to chopping/batonning like there's nothing else to do with a knife... right?

Please don't respond. You really don't have much to add. At least some of us try to contribute useful information in this community.

Thefinaledge is just a negative nelly who's not even been on this forum a month, he's just out to spread his negativity everywhere he can (looking at his post history anyways) and I have no clue what nuto is on about as his posts are really hard to read.

I think your video accomplished what you set out to test, it was obviously not a showcase on how to use a Becker, only a reassurance that grivory doesn't make the knife unsafe.

I guess you happen to be an expert at video analysis... right? Dude... I never go 100% force. EVER!!! I admit AGAIN this was unsafe, but it was effective. Just accept it.

based on the handle design, it effectively stops the hand outright, lubed, sweaty, bloody, or not.

thefinaledge doesn't appear to know what he or she is talking about, and with 15 posts at this time, and less when started, not a lot to offer in authority or gravitas. have you ever even tried these tests with a clean handle? got proof? post it. thanks.

for those doing ANALysis, not that the chopping went rather deep into the log. nice.

yeah, he was nervous. should have been. later thrusts were done with confidence, imho.

course, i'd offer that we do this with a 50 gallon drum, mineral oil, and some beers, but you know, science ;)
