Yangdu, our inventory control expert, tells me we have 3 village style BAS and 3 chiruwa AKs ready to ship.

The Chiruwa AKs pix can be seen in the recent thread dealing with them and the village style BAS looks and feels just like a BAS except they are not as pretty as the Hi version but do come with mil style frog. The village BAS is $60 and the chirwa AK is $65.

Bill can you tell us what the rc on these are? I am still dreaming about the 25" sirupati that Santa, well ok the post man is bringing me. Any info on the Katana shipment???

That BAS and AK villagers are very attractive, but is there any chance for 15in Sirupati before Christmas ?? I am interrested in one and I*ll take BAS only in case there will be no Sirupatis.

Kurdy, Send me some email, I think that I can help you out, I have a "used" 15" Sirupati that I was getting ready to send back to Uncle on a trade. It is like new, made by Sanu, with a lemon-oiled rosewood handle. I think it weighs in at about 15 ounces. I got it as an UBDOTD, so I can give you a good deal on it, and save Uncle the hassle of re-selling it! (ps, you can just send the money to Uncle, as I owe him some anyway).

I got my little BAS villager the other day and it's a nice little blade. This is the 1st BAS I have bought.
The scabbard has some outstanding leather on it and is Excellently made!!!
If the kami made this scabbard I am thinking he's a better sarki than a kami.

The only other villager I have with a scabbard this nice is my little "balanced" khukuri which is the one that makes me feel like the other guys with their 12" Sirupati's. And with its wicked recurve to enable it to balance it is one of the most fearsome looking khukuris I have.

Thanks!Looking forward to getting it,kind of scary, I'm beginning to get the same blades as my "Ndn Friend"!OR he is beginning to think like me!!(that sounds better)! Koz, must be ill,he didn't even "pounce"!Hope he's ok.You still have 2 BAS K'S,Koz, hasen't bought in awhile. He "NEEDS" a BAS to curb his Rampet HIKV!

Yup!!!
It's bad for here!!! We had a few Great Big Huge Snow Flakes on X-mas day but that didn't last long and then it changed to sleet and freezing rain. We were over at our youngest's place for dinner and we ate and Ran!!!
It wasn't bad going over, but it was worse coming home. And after 2 more days of the stuff I ain't gettin' out today. We have to tomorrow but it's supposed to warm up to about 35º and that will be a heat wave to the 20º's we have had for over 2 weeks now!!!
There's been a whole lot of wrecks and people stranded at the airport and bus station.
This is gonna be the coldest December on record!!!
The winters were more like this when I was a kid and we had to walk 10 miles to school, uphill both ways.

And it won't be long until the new year when you can start over. If you limit yourself to one a month it ain't too terribley bad. hehehehe.
