You know guys, I am wondering if Jim's De-Nile is perhaps because he was one of the first to come down with HIKV, even before Rusty discovered the Virus.
Makes me wonder if indeed Jim Wasn't the Very First one, but then there's Ray C. who helped our Brother & Uncle keep the business going way back when.
Of course Ray wouldn't have HIKV as such, but then who am I to say, perhaps Ray was the very First.
smile.gif

I will leave it to the experts like Harry & Rusty to figure out.

Jim I didn't believe it at first either and all I wanted was just one really nice khukuri, one that would do all and end all. Well, I got that one and the beauty of it just made me wonder so much how this or that khukuri would "feel" in the hand and if It Was "THE ONE" khukuri.
And even after doing the YCS I am still wondering about an old style
Tin Chiarra and I am now beginning to dream about it.....
What's a person to do???????
Why design it and build a prototype and let the HI Kami's work their "Magic" on it of course.
Anything else would just be Plain Wrong!!!!

Yvsa,(going off giggleing uncontrolably thinking about Jim's next downfall, and thinking that we will get him to admit having HIKV one way or another.

I find I enjoy chopping things with my various khuks so much that lately I'm turning everything in the woodpile into kindling. Or even smaller pieces.
Is it a sign of HIKV to be mulling over buying firewood rounds you don't actually need or have room for? Or is all this woodsplitting merely another innocent and commendable form of brisk exercise?

Bill,
"Nice try",but I have a Vill. on the way, REMBER?? I am "IMMUNE"I am now unaffected by, "Oh jim,I have "one" with your name on it!I win,Uncle,"I(AT LAST)WIN"!
HEE!

:
Jim does the book "Devil's Brigade" have anything to do with a certain
"Khult" and exquisite Pain? inquireing minds and all that you know.
smile.gif
hehehehehe

Seriously, I thank you, but I have a copy and there may be the sequel book around here somewhere, at least I used to have it. Both books are excellent and imo had that war been fought that way we wouldn't have been in Nam as long as we were.
And its about time to read it again. Old books and old friends are very much alike and well worth keeping.

Yvsa,
Not the Devil's Brig. This one is a old hard back I found(rare books)written by members of the Devil's Brig. These guys were
"UNREAL" THE MOVIE & DEVIL'S bRIG. BOOK DOESN'T EVEN COME CLOSE!I they had known about K'S!
jim

Yvsa,
Recieved my Vill.,Horn handled, scrapped in spots, buttcap is tight but doesn't fit the handle like HI K's do.Sharp as a razor.
Come to think of it "EVERY" Vill. I've had comes sharp!Am I satisfied? Yup!I still like wood better than horn, have big hands & wood fills them better, horn is real slim.
jim

Jim:
Uncle Bill does me kinda like he does Will Kwan. He sends us all the dull ones.

And I prefer the wood as well. Not only does it fill the hand better as you say, but to me it is "grippier" and much easier to modify in the case of the really big khukuris like the Super Salyan and the GRS models.
Since I used the Scotch-Brite on my 18"AK horn handle I find it handles much better without the super slick finish.

And you know some of us cruise around the forums and "We" "See" everything others post.
Read something the other day about a
"Gunting Cult." You wouldn't know anything about "That"
would you?

hehehhehehehhehe
I was really surprised to see that "side" of you!!!! hehehehehe

I "let" Harry & Rusty in on it too. It was Just to Good to keep to myself!!!!!(VBESEG) hehehhehehe

Yvsa,
Yeah,Ilove pain,& love to give it!The GUNTING ALLOWS ME TO DO IT UP CLOSE! Koz,Email'd me& showed no mercy!I have truly never had frieds like you all!Don't know if you guys know what payback is,hee, hee!Don't care "HOW" you do it but you have to come to the Konvention!
jim

Well Jim, I got a Gunting and a trainer too. I have an aversion to cults, but I sure like that knife. It adds a whole new dimension to many MA techniques.

My 13 year old son (big kid and a judoka) gives me lots of opportunities to practice with the drone. We don't fight nearly so much over the remote control anymore.
smile.gif
(Actually he is intrigued with the knife also.)

I retired my kubotan type devices when I started carrying the Gunting.
