I just got my plain-edge Spyderco Chinook from Vinny's Knives. Vinny didn't have one in stock, but he managed to order one from his supplier and reship it to me in less than a week. The knife was in perfect shape, of course, and even packed well with a friendly note.
Mini-review: the Chinook is one hell of a knife. It locks up rock-solid with a "CLICK!" you can hear from a block away. It's razor-sharp out of the box, of course, and heavy. The ergonomics of the grip are great. The whole thing screams "pocket bowie," and I'd expect nothing less from a knife with James Keating etched in the blade. This is an attractive knife, too. It has good lines, and the round Spyderhole blends in well with the overall package.
Thanks, Vinny!
