Virginia guys meet up or camping trip?

I'm not sure we have a place or time yet....sounds like November maybe the month but exactly when and where is unknown I do belive.
 
Yea, zmbhntr mentioned a place that sounded cool. Someone else did too. I'm looking at being available for at least two nights. A Friday and Saturday night will work for me since I have Fridays off. It'll just be me, no wife or kids thank God, so I'll have room for one passenger and gear. I only have a regular cab 4x4 truck.

I'll snag that spot in your truck if ya don't mind? I got no wife no kids and no where to be so I'm set I just got my critters and they're taken care of so I'm good to go!
 
That spot is yours lazy! Now we gotta get a list of others joining in on the fun and the place to go. I know of James River Runners but that is more of a regulated camp sight....probably won't be too keen on a bunch of guys showing up with huge blades ready to tackle the forest. They didn't like me choppin a tree down. I don't mind payin a bit, but I think most of us will be wanting to chop and make shelters...we need a place that we can set some INFI loose.
 
If people decide that they want to pitch tents on my land in WV, there is plenty of space there to set our INFI loose.
 
See^^^^^ that is what I was talking about. That's awesome zmbhntr! Didn't you say it was 1-2 hours west of DC? That's about 4 hours from me. If I remember correctly, zmb said the land was on an incline but there were flat spots to camp. About how far will we need to hike...if any. I'm all for it zmbhntr and super thanks dude! Let's make this happen guys. Me personally, I'd rather rough it for a couple days, I'll just seriously need coffee in the mornings, gotta have coffee.
 
There is no need to hike to get to a good place to pitch tents on my land. It is accessible from a gravel driveway that I improved from an old logging road. 4x4 not even needed anymore. If we want to hike around there is plenty of space to do so, but there are no actual trails on my land or immediately abuting my property. There are a lot of trees to let loose our INFI on.
 
My property is 2 hours west of DC. Outside of Moorfield WV. The property is in Ashton Woods if people want to google it for driving directions.
 
All about timing for me. Coming from near DC, so depends on how far away as well.

I'm up for it zmbhntr....Awesome for you to offer it up. This sounds like a good spot to me, not sure about others. Like you said, mid November is a good time for me as well. It'll be nice to get away for a bit.
 
From me to zmbhntr looks like it's about 5hrs away. A little more than I was thinking but not a deal breaker.

November is likely a no go for me. I am getting Married the first weekend of November. Will be gone through the second weekend, then thanksgiving
