Virginia guys meet up or camping trip?

So, it's getting closer and closer to mid-November, I gotta work this around some schedules (including my wife's! LOL). Do we have a date?
 
I agree. ..we should get a date set soon...I'm thinking second weekend? All of them are good for me...It'll just be me and lazy otter in my truck....makin the wife and kids sit this one out. How bout you breavis? What weekend is gunna be good for you? And Zmbhntr? And y'all other guys too....lets do this!
 
The weekend of the 21st would probably be better, but I can probably make the weekend of the 14th work as well if that time is better for people.

Yes. I almost always carry a .45 when I'm on my land. I don't have a range or anything, and I'm sure people will want to focus more on using their INFI, but If people want to shoot we can. I would of course expect that everybody will practice common sense and maintain gun safety, and once people start drinking we will all put the guns away; I want to maintain a safe environment for everybody.
 
+1 Zmbhntr. ..you said exactly what I would expect. I will abide, and asume others will too. Yea, I will be more focused on using INFI as well.

Well I am game for either weekend discussed, and am more or less ready. Will be getting meat the day of or before. I'm thinking about leaving my house at 6am and head to otter's place, probably depart there around 8 or 9 depending on how that sounds for you breavis headed up from NC? Then from there I'd say 3-4 hours at the most.....like to be there by noon the friday we choose. Two night stay is all I can swing.
 
I would arrive slightly later but not at night. I may have a fellow mate with me, my best friend. He is a small time piglet but knows that without Jerry civilization well crumble. He's like my brother, I keep an extra piece of INFI around just for him if things get waking dead around here. He loves to camp, shoot, and talk knives so he was am easy sell. We both need some time away from the women folk, except Lexi, hopefully she is still coming out....
 
Okay so how about we plan for the weekwend of the 21st unless people pipe up soon and let us know that weekend does not work for them. Also, if people want to go somewhere else other than my land now is the time to speak up. I take no offense if people would rather go somewhere else. The more things that we can finalize soon the better, that way people can start to plan accordingly.
 
Totally agree Zmbhntr! I'm good for the same weekend. Count me in. Lazy otter is ridin with me so that's 4 plus you Zmbhntr. Your place is completely fine with me...I love the mountains and hills.
 
I'll have a extra tent with me and atleast 14 or more tomahawks some for throwing some for chopping and some just for show as they are just for wet work and more than likely a gun or 2. Other than Busse I'll be bringing my Helm Forge and Helm Grind Hawks and knives. I'll be hanging in a hammock for my bed the tent is a back up for me or anyone who needs it I doubt I'll need it.

Hey Busse guys! Just wanted to make sure you know who you are dealing with when you interact with Lazy otter. He is a flat out scammer. He has had at least 3 major incidents here on BFC alone. He has not yet been banned but I think that will change once his current mess gets cleared up. Please have a look at these thread to see for yourselves:

If you don't want to read the threads I'll give you a quick run down. In one instance he was using other members paypal accounts to try and pull off purchases, sales, and trades. The current trouble is him not sending his end of a trade deal. The most egregious is him making up a story about a service man who's wife just died and left behind 2 daughters and the guy is getting deployed again but really wanted a Hinderer. Someone donated at least on XM to Lazy otter and he supposedly sent it to his buddy in Afghanistan. Then, Lazy suddenly had a Hinderer he was trying to trade or sell. Guess which knife he used for bait in the current deal he is in trouble for?


If you do decided to go on this trip with him watch your stuff. And Zombieassasin, there is no way I would let this scumbag in my vehicle.

No problem. You sure did dodge a bullet. Before anyone does a sale or trade they should take a minute and do a search in the GB&U using the persons screen name. Even before this latest incident, a search in the GB&U for Lazy Otter brings up a lot of negative info.
