Volunteer Knife Thread - Show them off!

Congrats Blues Blues

You’re gonna love VKT. I’m gonna jump on this model as some point as well.
Hope all has been well, E.
Thanks, Coleman. The clean lines remind me a lot of the work of a mutual friend. Every time I look at Volunteer's offerings I'm stricken by the aesthetics.

Things are good and I hope the same for you...and, of course, your brother.

Blues- it is a fantastic model impeccably made. One of best edc fixed blades and it will make you smile every time you hold it.
Thanks, B. It was pretty much your and Roland's pix that made me aware of Volunteer to begin with. I'm often so busy juggling stuff around here that I don't seem to have as much time to learn about new (to me) makers. Fortunately, you guys helped me discover a maker I needed to take note of.

I can’t say enough good things about them. Communication, design, fit & finishing, sheath construction, etc are all top notch. I might be their biggest fan.

Well, don't I feel foolish? How in the world did it take me this long to find out about and get a knife from Volunteer Knife Volunteer Knife ?

Everything, from the packaging to the knife to the sheaths is as clean as one could ask and top shelf in all regards.

On top of that, if there's a better value for the money, damned if I know what it may be.

I'm a fan. (Unashamedly.)

BTW, the size of this 3.25" is great. Works AIWB, works on the belt or in the pocket. And, forgot to mention, the knife came with a very well honed, thin edge. The kind you rarely come across on a regular basis.

Just awesome. That's all I got.

It's a great package for sure. I've not put it to use but to test the edge on some phone book paper, but I've carried it a couple times since it arrived yesterday.

It's very clean, impressive work.

I've got a few...I just don't use them unless I don't have an alternative method. They definitely have a place.

Whether fixed blades, holsters or mag carriers, I like how easy they are attach with TecLok. Much easier for me than undoing my belt to put it on.

I tend to use DCC clips or Mummert clips...up to a certain point and size. Then it might be dangler, belt loop or Tek-Lok. All have their place. (Not to mention PTD loops.)

I've been using Mummert pocket clips with my CPK EDC all week and it's been very convenient but with my Volunteer I like the TecLok. I use the dangler that came with the DEK cause I can't configure the Tec-lok and it works fine.
