Easy choice for me. Sal.

2nd choice would have been Ernie.

Lynn T makes me crack up/roll my eyes with the mall ninja-ish highlights but Cold Steel does make a good knife for the money imo.

Option F - NONE of The Above

-> Bill Harsey, Andrew Demko, Arno Bernard, there are more names should be there.

Please change Mick Strider to Mickey Ray Burger a.k.a. "M Strider"

I voted Rick, but could just as well have voted for Sal or Ernie or Lynn. He just seems like the kinda guy I would get best along with, not that that was the question.

U UmnumMAN , you should definitely read that thread.

Sal added by overwhelming demand

Plus as many of the other names suggested as could fit (sorry Danny Trejo guy, just ran out of room)
I realize you are somewhat no. Please consider what you post more seriously. You initial poll smelled very trollish. If you don't know why, then you need to stick around and read a bunch more :)

Edit to add: And now I've seen the other names you added. The obvious joke went right over your head. Definitely tie to read more.

I only know for Lynn Thompson because of Cold Steel videos. I've never heard for others (except Mike Stewart, but I heard nothing good about him) therefore I don't think I'm the right person to vote here.

With all the zeroes listed, the Man, the Legend, Mr. Sal Glesser will crush this, hands down...which I'm gathering was your point.

Sal no question. I'd also second Chris Reeve. Both men are super nice and super patient. There are many custom makers that are also top notch but I think the point of this poll is a representative from the "knife industry".

Ernie is a POS. Don't get me started......

Sal by a mile for just seeming like a good guy. Doug Ritter for impact on knife nuts everywhere by advocated for knife rights.

. . . but I voted Lynn Thompson because he has given me so much joy with his quality products and absurd marketing materials. I mean, how can I vote against the man that brought us classics like meat boots?

I honestly dont know hardly a thing about him. I have to go check him out now

Chris Reeve and his son Tim reeve really should be on this list! as they have both contributed a bunch to the knife industry, put there names hear and ill vote.
