That will look great -

I had the Cutlass and Galley Wag out yesterday - soaked the handles in mineral oil and mineral spirits mix to freshen them up.

I'll be using the 'Wag to cut up our Memorial Day condiments for the burgers.

Has anyone ever seen recycled Tire Tread usd as handle slabs? Sort of like those sandal soles you see. Might be pretty neat and very grippy


I think they would be very very dirty. I have a water trough made with that stuff and I can never handle it without being all blacked up. Even with a finish on them I think they would eventually be stainers. Just guessing here - no real facts :roll eyes:

I like the winning knife BTW. Looking forward to seeing it made.
