Well, here is mine. Still have some detail work and sharpen but its about done. It will be going out this week for the sheath. Sorry for the crappy pics. Its a really different than my usual EDC knife, I wanted something with a wider butt for wet hand use and a better grip with the thinner scales. My first necker!
Funny thing, my grinders tracking bolt stripped out mid grind so I had to finish it up with files. Ive never done it before but wanted to give it a shot. Turned out pretty good and it gives me the confidence to do it again if I need to
1/8" Aldos 1095
3" blade 3 7/8" handle
Curly Myrtle scales
Antique Finish
A little Bio since I like that from the last challenge:
I have been making knives since March of this year. I was fortunate enough to spend a weekend with Bill Akers at his shop learning the process of stock removal in early March. Its something I have always wanted to do but never seemed to have the time before now. I decided I wanted to make user knives since that is the style I prefer. I have alot to learn but I am getting better with each knife. Thanks to all the makers that have offered advice the last five months, I really appreciate it.
Pricing for this knife or similar sized EDC knives are $85.00 with sheath.

Nice! Setting the bar high out of the gate. Looks like this thing is officially on!

Thanks guys, as a new maker I just hope it performs well in the cutting and ergonomics areas. Its no Laconico or Fiddleback fit and finish wise!

That IS setting the bar high. I really like that design. It looks very practical. The finish on the blade is cool too and those are some pretty scales. I can't wait to play with it. Great job!

Thanks for the kind words guys. This is the starting point, the killers will come next! I just want to see how my knives are coming along.

It is a very nice blade. I wasn't aware of your work before, but I am definitely going to be paying attention after that!

Awesome! Can't wait to see yours Rick.

I'd like to play...

This would encourage me to actually complete something I've made :D

I have yet to complete my first knife, so if virgins are welcome..

I'm In..
