Here is one I forged out of some of Hanson's W2. It is a straight blade design, that I ground on the rotary platen for a slight convex grind. It was hand polished to 1000 grit and etched to show the hamon.
The handle is african blackwood. It is faceted and shaped to fit the hand well. It is held in place with G-flex epoxy and pins. The whole thing was sanded to 800 grit and buffed to a nice luster.
The sheath is 7-8oz hand tooled leather from Wickett and Craig. It holds the knife securely and yet allows for an easy draw.
Dimensions
Blade - 3 5/8" tip to handle
OAL - 8 1/4"
Price - $195 shipped to US.
I will have this posted elsewhere, so the first timestamp saying "I'll take it!" gets it.
The hamon shows up better in the video than it does in the pictures.
