Ray, I can easily get 1-1/2'' wide out of a 1'' round and could even get a wider blade after the bevels are forged.

1-1/4'' round will get 2'' +.

Russ, when I asked for spec.s, this is what I got.

C = 0.90% to 1.10%

Cr = 0.15% max

Mn = 0.10% to 0.40%

Si = 0.10% to 0.40%

V = 0.25%

The bars are marked W2 and they're all from the same batch. I've used quite a bit and it sure performs very good.

The 1'' W2 is going fast, if ya'll want any, please let me know ASAP.

I still have around 1000 lbs of 1-1/4'' round.

I want to thank all you guys who have bought W2 from me. It been a pleasure with not one problem. Your business is much appreciated :thumbup:

Thanks again,

Thanks Shawn. Guys, Shawn Ellis just placed second behind John Fitch in the cutting comp at the ABS hammer-in last weekend. Way to go Shawn:thumbup:

Here are a couple pics of some of the W2 I have. First is the 1'' round and next is the 1-1/4'' and what's left of the square stock. The 1'' pile is about half this size now. Thanks!!!

Don, Thanks the blades that I use in the cutting competions are forged from your W-2 it performs outstanding. At the ICCT cutting competions you cut golf balls into 2", rope ,1 1/2" rope ,3/4" chop into a wood dowel , 1 1/2" x 5" 1/8" thick plywood 12 of them stacked up you have to chop them into. chop 2 - 2x4s anyway a bunch of stuff back to back without sharpening. Great stuff still sharpe after 12 cutting stations .This is also the same blade I used at the Piney woods hammer in and placed 2nd

Don send me another batch 1 - 1/4" same as the last please

I must say the W2 I bought from Don is really nice to work hot. Im really excited now that I have read what Shawn can cut with it.

Don I will need some more soon.
