Wal Mart Vantages

I've been to 4 different walmarts and none of them have #101 with the dymondwood scales. I guess I'll have to order it.


I did pick up 3 of the selects though. Great knives for the money. :thumbup:
 
I tried two local Wal-Marts and neither had heard of or could look up the Vantages. It’s strange the way they deal with knives.

Same thing for me, I cant even find one of the Wal-Mart Odessys either.
 
As you've probably seen in my other thread about the same subject I found THE LAST Vantage Select Dymondwood at the Hood River Oregon store a couple days ago. They said the same thing, no more of these ever, bummer. I think they're an awesome combination having 420HC and the handle of the Avid. At least I have 2 of them. I actually got the other one about 2 months ago at the same Walmart. I really like this last one though, the grain on the handle is very striped, lots of contrast, nice. It's my EDC knife 24/7.
 
Haven't been able to get in touch with my local WM sporting goods manager. My local WM got more Paper stone and regular 420HC Vantages in. No mention of clearance etc. Looks like my store got all the left over stock :D.
 
Went to WM today, and they had just put out the new knife "display" cardboard in the Sporting Goods counter glass.

The only Buck's in it are 110's, 119's a Redpoint and 371 stockman.
