Correction it's changed status... I got the random bag version. Luck of the draw. I figured if it turned out not to be my favorite then maybe it's someone else's.

But I've been binging TWD and hunting for Busse products the whole time.

It is a beast.
So keeping in mind this is a prototype it isn’t the smoothest from about 90 deg to fully open while opening and closing, probably from the locking mechanism. Should smooth out over time.
Wasn’t sure about the lock but I really like it.
Remember these are prototypes and to quote Jerry:
“It is important to note that there are a number of variances in construction and finish.”
My impression is that these should be a good working folder but to expect them to be perfect may be met with some disappointment. They were made for the show and should “look good from the road” as the saying goes.

One thing I will add is that I wish it was on washers and not bearings but that’s my personal preference.

I am happy with it.
 
Thanks for the information and I generally agree about the PB washers vs bearings especially for harder use in dusty/dirty/gritty environments. Sounds like this prototype might be great after a break in period...
Maybe Jerry and crew will enjoy hearing some feedback from all of us Beta testing HOG users???
