If you get occasion to tear it down again-- like when you invariably decorate it-- pull us some specs on what size washers it'd take to drop in, please, thank you.

I wasn't expecting that level of exacting fitment on those plates and slabs. That must have been a bear to get the multiple standoffs+ holes aligned simultaneously to take apart and then press fit back together.

Ball size is 2mm, OD of pivot barrel is 0.250", ID of the hole in the liners is 0.465".

Yeah, turns out the lower holes in the lock plates are off just a smidge and the holes were all a very tight fit...possibly the plates shrunk when hardened. After sanding down the barrels and opening up the holes in the lock plates I was able to reassemble it without a hammer...and it's centered (Yeah, the liners got ano'd gold while it was apart)

Awesome vid Chip,thanks for that! Looking forward to mine in a couple days! I’m hoping for case-hardened armor with those screws, and I’d like to ano mine blue.
