It looks like Randall escapes next week judging by the previews. I wonder if he gets away and his group (most likely lead by the Governor, a major comic baddie) finds Hershel's farm and force Rick and co off in the last ep of the season. It's been confirmed the Governor will be in season 3 and play a major role.

Personally, I would have worked harder to find out where these 30 rapists were hiding out at then take them out 1 by 1. No question about it. But it does introduce the action to the series. No more worrying about food and safe shelter...instead now it's group of survivors against other groups of survivors.

He is a child and still pretty young at that so I wouldn't expect him to be the brightest light on the street.

They haven't seen anything for themselves yet as far as the other group or where they are etc.

As far as I've seen, almost everyone's names have been spelled incorrectly so far :p I suppose it's how you can tell who's read the comic and who hasn't! (e.g., Laurie :p)
 
Glad the whiner Dale is gone, "we will loose our HUMANITY"!!! When he went to stash the guns out in the woods was the last straw and he should have been gone then. Now for next weeks excitement---------

I think the show has jumped the shark. The story hasn't progressed since they bought the farm a season ago and it continues to get progressively worse with every episode. At the very least by now:
1) the farm should have been heavily armed, stocked and fortified
2) they should be openly broadcasting to attract every survivor within listening range
3) they should be culling the local zombie population 24/7
4) They should have incorporated a full trama center
5) They should be operating armored vehicles and collecting fuel and water transports to increase range and mobility

Let me add that by now I would have collected the severed functional zombie heads of the entire CNN on air cast and mounted them on my wall as real talking heads (a "live" art display?). Hey, you are all free to pick your own favorite theme; ex-bosses, ex-girlfrends, lawyers, politicians, traffic cops, inlaws......you get the idea. In short the show needs to loosen up and have some fun exploring the whole zombie genre. Lately, there has been too much soap and way too much stupid.

You forget that none of them except maybe Daryl were in the Military so one can't really expect Harry and Sue Homeowners to think like that. Most of them likely lived in their little boxes that was their little worlds until this happened.

These are NORMAL people for the most part except for the 2 COPS (Rick and Shane) and Daryl who is completely different than the rest.
 
I have dish network and when I try to DVR this, it shows a save of zero minutes. there are no schedule conflicts. Has anybody else had this problem? does it have some kind od newfangled copy protection or something? this has never happened with any other show, but it is 100% on walking dead since it started back up. they used to record fine until this last half season. I need my zombie destruction fix but between work and 3 children I can never watch it when it comes on

You have to reboot those DVR's once in awhile, that's unplug the power and wait a few mins then plug it back in to clear up the memory.

Daryl...in the service?!? Holy hell!! That kid would probably knock out his drill sergeant!!

Normal people or not they are still seriously ignorant in the priority dept. and as cops, both of them should be ashamed of themselves for all the drama and pissing matches they partake in. Rick needs to let go of morality and do what needs to be done...because of his mistake in not killing Randall anyone wanna guess how many more will die??

I read somewhere on another forum that there is some guy named the Governor that heads up this gang of 30 and he is a serious badass...good luck to the group. They might have a chance if Rick pulls his head out of his rear end and especially now that Dale is gone.

I can't believe that they have not fortified the farmhouse yet. Something as simple as nailing boards across all the windows and fortifying the doors should have happened by now.

I can, they are a bunch of idiots except for Daryl. Just my opinion of course.

Wouldn't it beat all if Meryl turned out to be the head bad guy (Governor)??

Like I said they are NORMAL people that had NORMAL lives so things like this aren't really on the radar.

Daryl is likely the only one who has any real since.

COPS are trained preserve life not take it so that would be a morality issue for Rick.
 
Carl may be a little kid but if he can blast Shane,why can't he shoot a zombie. Old dirty Andrea, well i guess its good she didn't like it old. Poor Dale. Can't wait till next week.
