Walking dead kind of night

Carl may be a little kid but if he can blast Shane, why can't he shoot a zombie. Old dirty Andrea, well i guess its good she didn't like it old. Poor Dale. Can't wait till next week.

Whoah, what now? How did I miss this?

That's what I thought... but he mentioned Carl's inability to shoot a zombie, Dale's death, and Andrea's resentment of Dale in the same line, which aren't from the comic.

Oh sorry i wasn't talking about any resentment of Dale my friends. I will say no more, just making a little joke for those that read the comic. Also the show is way past the first chapter of the comic. I wasn't giving out spoilers. I thought it was well known.

Oh and don't worry, nobody who read the comic can really spoil the show. Unless i guess they helped make the show. I've read the comic and I have no idea whats coming next.

Ah, I got it... just that all your points got jumbled into there so I thought I missed something.
It is pretty clear that Andrea doesn't like Dale that much, though. Or maybe it's just overstated since they're lovers in the comic.

I'm just glad they are getting into the action now. the first half of the season was almost boring. I was expecting dale and shane to have it out, definitely wasn't expecting it to go the way it did.

You think Laurie Holden is old....

Rick is going to allow Carl to carry a pistol in the next show. Carl has figured it out ,that because of his "fear" and indecision in not killing the "swamp zombie"when he had the chance ,or not alerting anyone of the "walker" that is lose on the farm . As a result, Dale was killed by Carl's bad judgement . This will "arc" over to the season finale . When Carl will be faced with a "life and death" choice , he will have the means and judgement to handle the situation. He will know what to do in the season finale with" little" hesitation.

Lets hope that David Morrisey can do a great job of playing the "governor" in season 3. Another good British actor to join the series.

For those who are curious...

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0607375/

Looks like he doesn't arrive until next season's first episode (then again they've planted misleading things on IMDB before). I'm guessing that then...or within an episode or two we'll see the theme that "he who has the most guns/firepower makes the rules and is in charge". My guess is also that the farm house will be gone pretty soon and they'll have to once again move along. But not before spending most of, if not the entire, season fighting and defeating this governor. btw, anyone else reminded of the "escape from new york/la" themes here??

Hopefully they learn that they need to fortify their position and stock up on guns and ammo rather than act like a bunch of ignorant drama-queens.

edmundl is obviously on the production crew or something  can you get me autographs?

Didn't see that coming! Anyone else thinking Carl is going to do something even MORE stupid in future episodes?? I'm really wondering about that kid...is he going to turn suicidal? Kill someone? Get himself killed?

Personally, I would have worked harder to find out where these 30 rapists were hiding out at then take them out 1 by 1. No question about it. But it does introduce the action to the series. No more worrying about food and safe shelter...instead now it's group of survivors against other groups of survivors.

I don't think there are any trained snipers in the group, let alone woods trained. And even if they were, it goes back to the whole thread of reasoning of not knowing if they were actually rapists or not. Theres a breakdown of communication in the group that leads to a lack of information at the leadership. The kid told carl that he wanted to combine the two groups - exactly what everone was afraid of. The kid told Daryl that the group included rapists, something that everyone is afraid of. Combine the two and you've got a pretty damning combination against the kid in their captivity, but there wasn't the communication to relay that to the leadership.

In edition to the "governor" added in season 3. A new character will join the "survivors". Her name is "Michonne". She will be totally "bad ass". Unlike Daryl who uses a crossbow. "Michonne" will use a katana . Keep watching.

OK, guess I need to put it differently...
can "you" get "me" "autographs?" :p

Edmundl, I hope you're right about Michonne. Without a strong character like hers, we could have a season of long (poorly written) talks with "the Governor". I think Gary was right, "more drama then horror".

That's what I'm saying... "Sounds" like "he" has "inside information." he's saying all that pretty confidently.

I don't mind that it's heavy on drama. That's what most zombie fiction is about anyway. You can only take so much repetitive zombie bashing--that's why Zombieland was just a film and not a series!
